Close Encounters of the Smelly Kind: My Corporate Stinky Story

After all, Life is all about मेहनत का पसीना But, how to deal with the situation, when the पसीना stinks like hell?? Lets find out together!

Alrighty! This Stinky Experience of mine belongs to Corporate World. So why don’t we just take a quick look that how corporate sector exactly looks like…(To normal people like you and me, at least!)

3 things you can't escape being a corporate sector employee:
  1. You need to behave like others and still pretend to present yourself as unique performer.
  2. Whether you want it or not, you are always in for the rat race.
  3. You can’t be straightforward to someone because it is rude as per office culture.

Corporate Sector Employees behaving in the same way
and still pretending to look different. Seriously Funny!

Needless to say, I have been amongst such people; (Or in corporate language, I have had the privilege to be a part of one such esteemed corporate organization and blah!). And that is what introduced me to Stinky Story I would never forget.

Like all my beautiful colleagues (Huh! as if I mean it), I too was determined to win the rat race (that took place in a loop-Never Ending loop).

No matter how talented and hard-working professional you are, you always need to make your Boss Happy! And, If you are a Female and your boss is also a FEMALE... the process becomes next to IMPOSSIBLE! ComeOn! Each one of us knows the basic principle of + Repels + and - Repels -. (Oh! I wish I could write a whole chapter about how to keep your Female boss happy, especially when you are a woman too!).

Anyways, my luck was banged up enough to have an Attention Seeker Female boss having a special soft corner for boot lickers. But still, promotions are promotions and you don't want to miss a chance to grab the opportunity when it strikes at your cubicle.

*The Smelly Encounter Saga Begins*

And, Finally, after long wait, the moment came, when my team leader was going on a maternity leave, Voillaaa...! Everyone wanted to fill the empty chair she left and our honorable manager had to decide that. But, Madame Manager could not do it without assuring that she made a right choice.

I had been really bad at being unnecessarily good to my boss. So, I had least possible chances to get selected for the next team lead. But, one day, Madame Manager walked to my cubicle and uttered these magical words, "I think you have the aura to be the next team lead, walk into my cabin in next 10 minutes and we'll see what we have in store for you."

Wow...! The moment you want to do Lungi Dance at your desk but manage to control the urge just because you are one well trained Corporate Animal.

I immediately rushed to her cabin, knocked gently and she threw a rude glance at me, "It just has been 2 minutes since I invited you, don't you remember I mentioned 10 minutes?"

"Ah! I Just...Came to...Ah (arrggghhh! Why does human mind behaves like a monkey jumping for peanuts, quite often, while it is offered some interesting opportunity)"

"Forget it, just come in" She was at her best! (Bi**h)

"Thank you for giving me this opportunity, I just can't thank you more for understanding my potential and choosing me for Team Leader position"

As I continued fumbling with my Vote of Thanks, she interrupted again, "Aah! Poor thing, don't make up success stories in your mind. I have just picked you for one week trial. If you succeed in impressing me, then only I will recommend you to the boss for Team Leader's position"

Wow! It was the moment I realised how much I hated her!

BUT, I was helpless. I couldn't do anything because I was chosen as a scapegoat already!

It was wiser to keep mum and go through the upcoming Trial Week somehow! I was worried and my senses had gone numb. But still, my nose was working fine as I realised during all this episode, I couldn't ignore the stinky smell hovering over my nose.

Oh! How much people suffer just for a Chance of Promotion! Pshewww, I was about to realise that in upcoming Trial Week!

Day1

Madame Manager walked in and started babbling about how much she had worked for the company. Her achievements, her abilities to handle problems and the charisma she had in personality. Blah Blah Blah!

My nose continued to feel uncomfortable because of the stinky stuff floating in the air. But, I had to pretend how carefully I was listening to each meaningless word she uttered.

Day2

She asked me to be her secret informer. Keep an eye on the team members and update her with every little activity. She also told me that being a faithful informer to seniors is the secret to success.

She had been talking against values and ethics, but what bothered me was sharp unpleasant smell hitting my nostrils.

Day3

"So, what interesting did you hear in your team?" She asked in style

"Nothing!" I replied

"What! As I told you to keep your ears clean and open to store the information about your team, stories being made up against me, any rumours being spread about me, any work not being done...Why are you not doing it" I hated her authoritative tone.

"Well, I believe a team leader should rather pay attention in increasing team productivity and motivation level rather than spying on the members! That's unethical" I tried to be humble.

"Wow! Now I realise what a mistake I have made. See, who is here to tell me how to run a team. Don't forget I am a manager here...मैंने अपने पसीने की मेहनत से ये कुर्सी पायी है. I have sweated it out to earn the Manager Position!.... " She continued to babble but my mind was stuck at SWEAT!

My mind didn't listen to what she said. It rather was busy thinking--"Sweat! Oh, so this stinky smell is result of her so called पसीने की मेहनत. Hell, why can't she take a good bath for God Sake!"

Eewwww! I had been smelling this unhygienic lady and didn't even realise that my nose had been paying the biggest price for it. Hell Yes, I deserved to be the team leader, without being her secret informer or without sniffing her unbathed, unhealthy so called मेहनत का पसीना (Sweat of hardwork)!

I walked out of her cabin, I could notice my nose rushing out faster than rest of my body.

Day4

Madame Stinky walked to my desk and uttered few words in authoritative style, "So, Are you ready with your presentation Miss Deserving to be Team Leader?"

Today also she didn't bathe. I knew! The intensity of her deodorant explained it all! Oh God! Having a stinky boss was worse than having a nagging boss. (I just realised that).

"I want answers, where is the presentation?" She increased her pitch and harshened her tone.

"Which presentation Ma'am?" I was confused!

"The one I asked to be ready with, Yesterday! The one, which would decide how hardworking and deserving you are for this Team Leader Position" Oh she was so loud!

I knew I had missed this information yesterday because I was too busy with dealing her unbearable bad body smell.

"So, you are not ready! I smell defeat here.. I think I need to choose new candidate for this position! You are good for nothing." Anyone could sense arrogance in her tone... But wait, she could smell defeat... Something that didn't really exist BUT she couldn't smell her stinky stuff she carried in her body! Wow! I had had enough! It was time to rise.

"I am done with the presentation. Shall we move in and discuss." I stood up and waited for her nod.

She nodded and we walked to her stinky cabin.

My Presentation

I started..."Dear Ma'am, I would expect you to act mature and normal during this presentation. I have noticed that you have put a lot of your पसीना (sweat) to earn this position. So, as per you, you deserve to hire, promote or fire my anytime you wish to. But, before you do anything, let me bring this into your notice that you have forgot to clean that पसीना you had let out to achieve this position. Or you did it intentionally because you wanted the world to know that you have flooded your sweat to become an annoying manager to take any unreal and unethical decisions."

She sprang up from her chair and shouted out, "What do you mean? You might get fired for uttering such nonsense!"

"I requested you to keep calm Ma'am the presentation isn't over yet. When you were around, I always wanted to know, What's that smell Boss But I could never imagine, being a manager you won't be careful towards your personal hygiene? How could you ensure cleanliness in your mind and clarity in your management decisions, when you carry filth all over your body? "

"How dare you judge me?" She shouted!

"I might sound rude to you, but that's the truth maám that you need to take hot water bath every day in the morning or if possible twice a day. It will surely solve your hygiene problem and save other's nose from unwanted stinky smell."

She was silent now. So I continued, "Not taking bath regularly and being lazy about your personal hygiene is a bad habit, but you could easily get rid of it. If you wish I could give you some tips, like:
  • Don't miss on a hot water bath everyday! It will rejuvenate your mind, body and in fact soul.
  • Add some rose water or cooking salt to your hot water bucket/tub twice a week to freshen up your body
  • Rumour has it that companies like Racold have awesome water heaters (both electric and solar) to help making your daily bathing process easy and fun!
Presentation Over Ma'am, You might take your time and type my termination letter."

I rushed back to desk and sat down on the chair to control my heartbeats. I had never talked to any senior like this, before, ever! But, I was glad I raised voice to protect my nose against unhygienic smell and stinky torture.

My system had a mail ping! I opened it in hassle, I knew it was my urgent termination news. But what I read out there made me smile:

"Thanks for Wonderful Presentation Dear! Wait for the official announcement for your promotion :)"

Wow! That was so filmy! Sob Sob! But, I was glad that my act of raising voice against smelly encounter changed someone's lifestyle habits for good.

And Piu Meets Mother Nature: Little Saint

Howdy! I am sure you don't want to miss these previous chapters:

Chapter 1: And Piu Meets Mother Nature: The Step Mom Secret
Chapter 2: And Piu Meets Mother Nature: The Fruit Story
Chapter 3: And Piu Meets Mother Nature: The Fruit Story Continues...

Piu woke up early that day and walked straight to the kitchen. Hugging Mom cutely, she spoke, "Mom, I met Mother Nature last night"

Her husky cute voice made Mommy kiss her cheeks and ask affectionately, "How come honey?"

"She came into my dream...And she was so beautiful."

"Really! Did you enjoy meeting her? What did she say?"

"I loved being with her...She cuddled me and talked to me for hours. You know what Mommy, she looked ditto like you. Same to Same"

"Oh really, How sweet" Mom was absolutely delighted.

"Yes, you and Mother Nature share the same face. But she wears different kind of outfits and jewelry. She was all wrapped in green, blue, pink, red, yellow and other beautiful colors. She had her body covered with grass, leaves, petals and flowers. She wore flower made and fruit made jewelry. And Water was her scarf. She had long hair, big eyes and beautiful lips like you.." Piu was all busy in expressing exactly what she saw in her dream.

"Wow"

"Yes Mommy and she kissed me, hugged and asked me to take care of every plant, every creature and be nice to the surroundings. I promised her to water plants every day, grow more plants and never pluck flowers and leaves. I will play in garden and make mud pies rather than watching TV."

"Oh My God! What else did she tell you?" Mommy was curious like a kid.

"She told me that Nature is everything. Everything fruits, veggies, trees, water, air, soil and plants and flowers and everything is Mother Nature...Even earth too. I will take care of the surroundings while doing everything because surroundings is Nature. You are Nature. I am Nature...Right Mommy"

Mom kissed Piu and patted her back for such a wonderful portrayal of Nature. She was amazed to see the power of imagination. All she had to do was do the initial ignition and rest was meant to be taken care of by itself. And she was glad that she started with the fruity tales and successfully introduced her child with Nature and its vastness.

Mommy had no clue that she would meet li'l SAINT Piu early that morning. This made her laugh in amazement!

And of course she was in tears to know the fact that nothing can replace Mother's face in her child's heart... That's why Piu found Mother Nature's face similar to her mommy...

Now Since Piu was aware that Mother Nature paid attention to her and now it was her turn to pay back Mother Nature with her regular practices to keep the environment clean, water the plants, be careful towards trees, grass and everything that has been created by Prakriti (Mother Nature) itself, Mom was relaxed. But, she knew that there's was a long way to go. She had to introduce to her little baby with thousands of wonderful components of Nature...

Mommy knew a life will fall short while exploring the depths and ends of Nature. But, she knew it was her duty to discover as much as she could for her daughter and rest she will leave on her daughter to discover on her own...Some of the topics that she had to tell stories about, were-How sun shines, the cool moon, rivers, lakes, waterfalls and rain, fog and seasons and what not! After all, everything was Mother Nature!

"Mom, I stood by the refrigerator many times today, But I heard no voices..." She asked cutely as Mom entered the room with glass of milk.

"Kids can't hear fruits talking. Only elders can" Mom wanted to get away with the question before Piu could made it really challenging for her to answer it.

"Oh I see, same as we can't see big people kissing?, anyways continue with the story" Piu uttered these words too innocently to make mommy feel worried. She rather kissed her little daughter's cheeks and continued with the story.

"Well, I told the fruits that I was Piu's Mother and I wanted to talk to them. I asked them for an introduction and they looked back at me with a smile..."

Piu's bright lit eyes could explains she own a brilliant power to imaginate things beautifully.

"Two yellow gentlemen initiated the process...They removed a little of their jacked and sang melodiously,

Covered with yellow, white within
When Piu will eat us, she won't remain weak or thin
Filled with Vitamins and minerals
Sweet and pulpy, we are banana brothers...

And Then, Mr. & Mrs. Papaya stepped forward,

Mother Nature made us sweet and pulpy
Ask Piu to eat us and her stomach will never be bulky
I am Papaya and she is my wife
We are at your service, just bring up the knife

Now, It was Apple Brother's turn,

Howdy, Apples are here
So no worries about health troubles, nothing to fear
Meet pineapple, tangy and healthy

We don't understand, why is this all big fuss
Even when this fruit, doesn't look like us

Hi there
Healthy and green we are here
Meet my wife and me
May your family always be ailment free

And then all the fruits and veggies in the refrigerator altogether sang...

We are created by Mother Nature
For you, For Piu, for Every creature
Like she invented you,
She invented us too
Eat us, don't throw us
Protect the trees, they grow us
There are more, fruits and veggies
Waiting always to be at your service
Love us like we love you
Mother Nature cares for you, Oh its true...!"

Piu listened to this entire melodramatic story with her mouth open. She was so amazed to see fruits singing and jingling in her imagination. She suddenly found a whole new world around her, a world she never noticed...She hugged Mommy and kissed her cheeks.

"We will grow more and more trees...I love you Mommy"

Mommy kissed her angel too and wished her a good night with beautiful dreams. It was time to go to the bed...

And Piu Meets Mother Nature: The Fruit Story

***Pssst! Hey, I guess you are missing out the previous part of this story... Here's the link...

Previous Chapter

Mom knew it was the time to shift the bed time stories from fairy tales to stories about Mother Nature.
Piu was already in bed, waiting for mommy to come in and introduce her to all the interesting fruity characters. Ah Kids, they are always curious and punctual when it comes to bedtime stories.

And, Mom Began...

"One night, when you and Daddy were asleep, I heard people talking in cute voices."

Piu settled down with her little frog pillow to show her curiosity. Mom Continued, "First I thought it was an illusion, but the voices continued to come. I tried to sleep, but nothing helped. I was constantly distracted by those frail voices."

"Were you afraid Ma, why didn't you wake me up" Piu interrupted.

"You were enjoying your sleep honey, so I decided to go out and check by myself. As I walked out of the room and followed the direction of voices, I found out that the voices were coming from Kitchen. And as I entered in the kitchen, it was so clear that someone was talking inside the refrigerator"

"Its a ghost story and you promised that there will be some fruity stuff" Piu was worried and her cute pouty expressions conveyed it well.

"Hush, don't break the flow honely, listen further. As I sat down and placed my ear and refrigerator's door, what I heard was amazing. Some frail voices were talking about you...All nice and beautiful things about you... "

"About me" Piu's face lit up with Joy...

"Yes, and all that I could hear was--Piu is one bright and intelligent kid. Mother Nature has created us to boost her health, mind and body. We should do our best to keep this wonderful kid healthy. After all, Mother Nature loves her so much." Mom continued with her animated expressions.

"Wow" Piu was overwhelmed, after all who doesn't like to be praised, specially ladies.

"And, then I couldn't wait to open the door. But, as I did, all the fruits were surprised and little afraid too..."

"Fruits" Piu's eyes were wide open in astonishment. "Fruits were talking about me Mamma?"

"Yes My Dear and Then I met, Mr. & Mrs. Papaya, Step Brothers-Apples & Pineapple, eligible bachelor Pomegranate, Banana Brothers and Many More.."

"Wow, Tell me about them...Let's go and meet them now... Please! Let's hear them talking about me" Kids are to handle when they are restless.

"No...Promise me that you won't panic and wait for the next chapter of this story unfold the new things. Remember once I told you patience is the key?" Mom was firm.

Piu was too curious to spoil the entire mood of the story, so she decided to wait until tomorrow. She kissed Mom and smiled.

"Sleep tight Honey, and remember Mother Nature Loves you, so love her back" Said Mommy with affection.

Piu looked at the stars outside the window and waited for next night to come soon.

And Piu Meets Mother Nature: The Step Mom Secret

“Mommy!!!! Mommaaaaa!!” Piu’s back home from school.

Mom could hear her tiny footsteps marching through the lobby, and then the familiar sound of her throwing the water bottle first and then the lunch box in either the sides of lobby. And, the little lady walked up with grace, unloading the not-so-heavy school bag from her delicate shoulders preaching again, “Mommy!!!! Mommy where are ya?”

Mom was effortlessly distracted from the laundry and walked out to hug her little princess… In the middle of the hug, Piu bombed a new question, “Mommy, who is Mother Nature?”

“Mother Nature, well she is….”

“Don’t tell me she is my step mom!!!” Piu pretends to raise an eyebrow.

“Who introduced you to the term step mom??...”

Before mommy could overcome this surprise li’l lady interrupts again, “Well, that’s not a point of discussion here… Don’t tell me you guys hiding something from me?  Wait, is she Dad’s second wife? Is dad married to Nature too?” This seriousness of li’l lady was turning too cute to handle…!

Trying to control her laughter, Mommy managed to speak out, “Baby there’s nothing like that…”

And the cute interruption stroke again, “I can smell something fishy going under my nose” and she did that nose twisting thing vaguely.

Mommy’s mouth fell open. She was still stuck with the astonishment that what introduced her daughter to the term step mom and now she had to three new words to worry about-Dad’s second wife, Something Fishy & Of course Under My Nose!

Now asking the wise little lady was the only way out…

“What happened, my love, tell me in detail…” Mommy surrendered!

“I and Rhea were plucking flowers from the plant in school and Rangoli miss punished us…” Piu was excellent in delivering that balloon faced expression with her cute cheeks.

“Ah! Why were you plucking flowers?”

“Just like that, and then I was chasing that blue butterfly and kicked a flowerpot with my feet and it was broken into pieces mom”

“Oh”

“Then teacher asked me to stand on the table for 10 minutes and I denied”

“Why?”

“Because plucking flowers, chasing butterflies and breaking flowerpot is not crime” Affirmation in those big eyes.

“Crime..Oh! She is also familiar with this word…” Mommy mumbled to herself!

“And then teacher looked at me and said that I had no respect for my mother nature and I should learn to show some” Piu continued advocating her point.

“Wait Wait Wait Honey!... I really need to ask who teaches you about second wife, step mother, under the nose, fishy, crime and stuff life that… BUT first, I need to introduce you to Mother Nature!” Mommy held Piu’s hand and walked her to the garden area…

Curious Piu walked obediently.

“Look at the surrounding, the blooms, the trees, the plants, the air, the sunshine, the grass, everything is Mother Nature…” Mommy explained animatedly!

“Really!!” Piu was amazed and interested to know more…

“Yes, Nature is mother of us all… She is the one, who has created this world and made it look so beautiful…The sea, the mountains, the forests, rain, fog, everything….”

“Then why can’t I see her in person?”

“mmm…well…actually…”

“Where does she live?”

“She is...actually invisible…mmm no rather present in the air…”

“Mommy, get your concepts cleared first, nothing’s invisible except smell and air, but still we can feel them”
Piu was sure she knew more than Mommy..

“I know but let me explain it in a better way…”

“Yawwn! Enough of information for today Mommy, I am hungry and thank God this nature thing is not married to Dad, otherwise you two would have busy in filing a divorce…” Piu walked inside…her slow lazy walk!

Mommy stood still, her mouth fell open, still wondering that how does she know about DIVORCE! But anyways, Mommy’s concern was to introduce her little wonder to the most wonderful person ever…Yes Mother Nature… And she was determined to do it...Anyhow!

While feeding her cute baby doll, Mommy announced, “I will be introducing you to Mother Nature soon… Be ready to meet Mr. & Mrs. Papaya, since you know what ‘step’ means, so Step Brothers-Apples & Pineapple, eligible bachelor Pomegranate, Banana Brothers and many more…”

Piu jumped in Joy, after all, she loved stories!

Real FM: The show must GO ON; Kudos to the Showman behind it

"Ab Tak Safar Acchha Raha, Is mod se jayein Kahan, The Journey has been alright till now, where should I head from this turning point of my life... "

When these melodically magical words hit in your ears, with an uptempo and inspiring sound track, you just can't help but melt. Melt in the feeling of goodness around you. These few words, sung by a beautiful lady in her magnificent and 'true to heart' voice make you look back for a moment and believe that your journey for life till date, has been Just Fine.

Going through the trailer of this movie, which contains few smiling and determined faces and these marvelous lines of a song, inspires you to bunk office and head for the special screening of this flick.

Magic of this track is too exotic to let you wait till 23rd March (official telecast date of the MTV television flick-Real FM by Anurag Basu). You replay the trailer again and again... And, just feel lucky for being a blogger and being a part of Indiblogger platform for giving you this chance of attending this exclusive screening.

Salute to the director of film (Akarsh Khurana) for putting this song in trailer. After all, who knows better that where the aching heart beats in a body, if not the one who lives in it.

Movie Review: Sunsilk Real FM

As they say* "A brilliant movie gives you a lot to talk about" and this makes me eligible to talk endlessly about Sunsilk Real FM.... But, considering the fact that my chatterbox mode might faint you in a while, I will try my best to say a lot in few words (which I generally FAIL to do *Winks*).

(* There is no 'They' to say, the above mentioned quotation is one of my several on the spot original creations!)

The Story

Life throws challenge at people randomly. Lucky are those, who are picked by life for such challenges and fight through it anyhow. Because winning such challenges makes you stronger, braver and better human being. After all, smooth waves never make good sailors and smooth roads never make good drivers. That is what the story is all about. It just tells you, No matter what...The show must Go on.

No showman is bigger than the show; But the show itself if. If one showman walks out, the new one will enter to fill his/her place... That's rule of life and the filmmaker has portrayed this truth of life so beautifully!

Rhea, 22 year old independent girl, beloved daughter, loving and caring friend and a fun loving lady with child at heart attitude. Rhea has everything that a luckiest person on the earth could ever ask for. Her father runs a radio station and is facing heart illness issues.

Too busy in living each moment of her life, Rhea is not sure what challenges are waiting for her at the turn of the road. Rhea's father is totally shaken to heart stroke when he discovers that his entire radio station workforce has decided to resign from their jobs just over a little issue of appraisal and salary increment.

The heart attack shakes Rhea's life and disheartens her entire family. Since her brother is studying in UK, she is the only person to deal with this situation.

Now..What if Rhea had:
  1. Cried whole night...
  2. Stood in temple and passed on some taunting dialogues at God's statue...
  3. Blame everyone around for spoiling her father's life...
  4. Blame the radio people for being mean
  5. Call her brother all the way to UK and shout at him that he must be here in India with family at this crucial time...
  6. Didn't show up to his friends for weeks...
But, Since the film was based on showcasing spirit of Sunsilk girls, Rhea was way different than above drama. She was determined, focus, confident and with the spirit of a fighter...

What Rhea actually was:

  1. Ready to take on the challenges
  2. All set to kick off all the asses that come in her way
  3. Focused to save the radio station *with absolutely no plan in her head
  4. Faithful enough to drag her friends in this mess that too HAQ SE.
Rhea knew her friends will be there for her, no matter what and she was right. She faces some stumbles and fumbles in the beginning while trying to save the radio station on crucial day of 15th August (Independence Day) but manages to run it smooth for the rest of the day.

She comes up with the idea of putting songs from each state of the country to represent Independence day in a new way. Here begins the journey to finding musicians, singers and contributors for the show. Gradually during the day, with all the wonderful efforts of her 2 amazing friends and Akanksha (Her friend's sister) they successfully put up the show in hit list.

During this day, they meet countless new challenges, face bloopers and make new friends. And this surely echoes the golden words of Majrooh Sultanpuri in your ears "Main akela hi chala tha janib e manzil magar...log milte gaye...aur karwan banta gaya..."

Music

There comes the melodious and fun part of the flick. WOW. I mean imagine a television film aka short film loaded with wonderful songs in regional languages. It all begins with a prayer in Kashmiri Language and ends with beautiful song sung by protagonist Saloni.

You simply fall in love with sweet voices from Meghalaya, Nagaland, Goa, Mizoram, Kerala and more. Whereas, Singers of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and Chhatisgarh make you feel like dancing. The raw essence and regional spice that reflects through these songs make you fall in love with the film instantly.

Disappointment: A little of disappointment follows for those, who know Rajasthani and Punjabi language very well. Punjabi song is not in Punjabi actually. Though, the song fits in perfectly in the flick, but still it has a lot of Hindi in it that somewhere reduces its impact.

And, Rajasthani song that a lady sings while Akanksha holds the mic for her speaks all the lyrics wrong :( That makes every Ghoomar lover sad for a moment. Also, in the beginning, there is a phone call, where someone says that he is happy that regional songs would be played on radio and he would be waiting for Rajasthan's song. So as a viewer I believe this song should have been presented more effectively....

But, the GOOD NEWS is that the film takes up its momentum so smoothly that this disappointment doesn't last for more than a few seconds. This song by Saloni melts your heart and you give in yourself completely for this inspiring flick.

Cinematography

As you grow with the movie, you slowly start falling in love with each minute details showed to in the flick. Every face, every property and ever element in that frame has been fit with a brilliant cinematic sense. Saloni looks gorgeous while singing the song and everyone's face's shot while listening to her song, their eyes and brilliant filming of every emotional detail on each protagonists face is  simply outstanding.

Each shot of the film is designed brilliantly and with keen interest of the cinematographer! Kudos.

Performance by Protagonists

Every single protagonist in this film has done complete justice to their roles. Whether it is about all the three leading sunsilk ladies or about the supporting characters, everyone was fantastic. All these three ladies kept the show rocking throughout the time.
The comic timing and flow of emotions building amongst the characters of the film was simply amazing.
I would like to give specially mention to Bhaiya Lal Dubey and his assistant. That boring CA and Jawahar were also very interesting characters. Had a good laugh while watching them act.

Pheww! It took me 35 minutes to arrange these photos this way!!! Phewww...Big round of applause for me!

This was the first film I watched directed by Akarsh Khurana. And I am glad that I did so. He truly is a show man. A director with realistic thoughts and lemony fresh ideas is what lifts up soul of a film. And Khurana ji did that very well.

There is strong grip over the film throughout the time. The idea of putting music and fun throughout the challenging phase going on the movie is simply astonishing. The showman knows how to keep you staring at the screen... from beginning till the End.

PS: I really wish radio stations should take up this idea of LIVE and Regional Music seriously!!! :)

Editing/Casting

Brilliant editing work is done in the film. Some magic way of editing this film has been used because when you see the film, you feel the event are happening in real time. This Real Time Editing stuff is one of the strongest elements of the film.

I loved each and every character in the film because they fit in the role perfectly. However, I didn't like the facial expressions of that guy Sameer.

Claps for Sunsilk

Well, Sunsilk deserves a huge round of applause for bringing up such grand ideas on TV screen. Films for TV has always been a fascinating but least considered subject. Its great that Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) is bringing it up.

The Good news is that Sunsilk DID NOT OVERDO the marketing stuff. Sunsilk remained the soul of the film rather than being a noisy sponsor. Ah! I loved the most about Sunsilk. :)

Claps for Sunsilk, Anurag Basu, Akarsh Khurana, all the protagonists, crew and Indiblogger because they made and  showcased a film that was meant to:

My Experience at the Special Screening Organized by Indiblogger

With a bag full of popcorn and constant munching of mouth, I stared at the screening, expecting the movie to be worth bunking my office for last few hours. Well, I did bunk my office and lied to my BOSS. Why? Even when there are not mentioned by Indi people that dinner will be served!!! This shows my dedication towards the film of course! Now, you must be wondering what on the earth would make someone feel so excited about a television flick?
Well, because I was stung by the melodic song that they played in the trailer video...And I am glad that I made the right decision. It was fun and excitement loaded show! I felt the same zeal and energy in all my fellow bloggers attending the screening. In short, I felt that I was watching this flick with my clones. Laughs, hoots and whistles were emerging with the same energy from each corner of the theater.

Thank You Sunsilk and Indiblogger!

Meeting Cousin Malaysia; Well, Nature is my Sworn Mother!!

Heya All, Couldn't find better quote to begin a travel article :). Indeed to travel is to live. Because those who don't move to new places...simply rot.

Okay! Let me clear the confusion about TITLE, otherwise one part of your mind will keep behaving like this lovely lady below!

I was exploring about Malaysia and got to read this interesting line "Malaysia is Nature's own child". I mean WOW...Nature has been my Mother always, that makes Malaysia my cousin.. Sounds cheesy.. But its pure logic man...! And yes, since Nature is my 'Sworn' mother...That makes Malaysia my cousin, not real sibling! Phewww!!

***

Alright enough of relationship counselling. Now let's come to the main topic. What are the 5 things that I would like to do in Malaysia... Wuhuu Goosebumps! The excitement is too aggressive to limit the list ONLY till 5. Trust me, I can tell you more than 30 things in a go, which I would definately like to do when I am in Malaysia...

What, you will faint if you get to read more than 5? Okay, Ahem. Alright I spare you then :)

Before I tell you the 5 things, You need to know why I want to go out on a trip? To Malaysia?**

I feel bad when my Facebook account asks me about my travelling experiences

Let the picture speak for itself

Ok this information makes me perfectly eligible to write a blog post about 5 things you would want to experience in Malaysia!

** I want to go to Malaysia because Blogadda's this amazing activity might just make me feel the luckiest wanderer on the planet :)

Malaysia Here I come

Well, Malaysia has it all, roaring nightlife, glittery city, richness of Mother Nature, exotic beaches, engaging heritage sights, fun-loaded water sports, casinos and chaotic shopping destinations, WHAT NOT! But, if I have to choose only 5... I will kill all the "wanderlust bugs" and manage to pick following 5:

Diving through Sipadan Island, Sabah

When you are in Malaysia, would you miss the chance of discovering the untouched piece of art underwater? I would love to turn into a Mermaid and dive through the magical and magnificent underwater sights of Sipadan Island.

Hanging Gardens, Barracuda Point and the Turtle Cavern..Awieee reading these names on internet fascinates me to just be there and blow flying kisses to the not-so-friendly water creatures.

Well, I won't mind wreck diving in Redang Island, Terengganu as well*.
Of course I it is sponsored *winks*

Caves MammaMia...

When I was a kid, I used to threaten my Mommy that If she didn't get me chocolates or tried to wake me up early in the morning, I would run away  to the caves. I see a chance to turn my dreams into reality. Haha! But this time, she would be more than happy to see me doing this.

Batu Caves, Selangor, reading about it on the internet with a pinch of my imagination turns it really fascinating thing to do in Malaysia for someone like me.

Naturally rich Heritage of Langkawi, Kedah

Myths & legend, mystery and natural beauty clubbed together...Woaah! Reading about Langkawi, Kedah gives me a feel of eating clubbed sandwich with extra Mayonnaise. Exciting isn't it. Ah! I am dying to discover natural beauty of this world famous geographical heritage sight in Malaysia.

Kinabalu Park, Sabah

Beautiful species of beasts and plants grip my attention. My mother often says when I stare at those species keenly, with my mouth open and eyes wide (On TV channels like NatGeo, of course), I too look like one of them.

This makes Kinabalu Park, Sabah a must visit place for me. This is where I can get to look at the world from a new height and treasure a lifetime experience in my mind. And, I might find out which species I actually belong to *winks*

River trip through Kinabatangan River, Sabah

River safaris has been one of my heartiest fascinations. I have suffered deadly river safar moments in some of my adventurous dreams during the night. What else could be a better option to discover rich and abundant wildlife of Malaysia if not a river trip through the forest-covered floodplain of longest river in Sabah.

River Kinabatangan, I have got my Chappu Oar ready for the Safari. Look my Way!

PS: Do I need to mention here that I am going to click pictures like crazy during the entire trip? I think you are smart enough to guess it! Of course, I will need images to flaunt on my facebook, twitter, blogger and Blah!!!

I am participating in the MalaysiaJao Blogathon Contest in association with BlogAdda.com.

Meeting Zayan

‘‘Its amazing how little things can inspire you to do big’’
                                                                                                                ~Of Course Me ‘Punk Head’~ I don’t steal quotes.

Okay back to humble tone!

A day with little wonder Zayan, chubby cheeks, soft like a fur ball and innocent enough to challenge innocence itself. Walking with his mom Sadia Khan, blue jeans, orange-black jacket with a sexy hoody. He looked no less than a stud from Hollywood movies shrunk down in the size of a kid of course!

Too busy in munching chips, he managed to shake hands with me that too without giving a damn to notice my face. This gesture of that little big boy clearly told me that he would use ‘ignore the girl to get her as your girl’ theory once he grows up. Sadia, I am sure you will have to approach some TV channel to organize a realty show for your son-Zayan Dulhaniya Le Jayega aur something to get a perfect bride for your soon.

Anyways, back to the wonderful day I spent with Zayan (and his mom of course *winks*).

Firstly, I was worried to see him not bothering to talk. But, when he started twisting his tongue, I was sorry for being bothered at all. He was least bothered to wait for answers and just kept bombarding his cutest ever questions on us (Me and Sadia of course). Though, Sadia was familiar to all this, so I had to take all the butterflies in my tummy that his cute talks brought up.

Me and Sadia could barely manage to bitch about random things because of some following cute questions and dialogues by the stud kid Zayan:

Where are we right now?
I am superman…
Are there tigers in the park?
Please click my pictures when I jump.
Can you get the dog dance with me?
Go ahead and click dog’s close up photo.
Wow, squirrel… Please get me one.
Dear Tigers, I won’t kill you, come out, don’t hide.
I want to sit, I don’t want to stand, my bum is not comfortable. (on the rickshaw)
Mom, where is water? I am feeling thirsty, why didn’t you get water
Clouds… woah it will rain now. Let’s open the umbrella.
I am a kid, so I don’t shave. Once I grow up, I will use Gille gel to shave my face.
Food, Food, where is food. I want food.
I will kiss you if you get me icecream, because I love icecream.
Wow, the I-card has my name on it.
I want a prize. Piu, will we win prize?
I want candies; please walk with me to the candy bowl…

I loved the way he posed in front of my camera to get his pictures clicked. He smiled at everyone. He cheered for the prize he got, he was so happy to see little things around. This little kid has an eye to look at the beauty of life. It was a day perfectly spent with Mommy and her charming son.

PS: Sadia, there is no point in discussing about all the nice bitchy discussions we had. Let the secret stay secret.
