Get, Set, Bolt- #Boltdrives in a Royal Way

As I begin to write this post, I realize how privileged I am to be a blogger. I get to attend events and activities, which are exclusively designed by likeminded people for likeminded people. I am glad that I pursued by decision of being a blogger and finally life introduced me to Blogadda!

What am I talking about?

As the title of the post suggests, the post is about my experience of the #boltdrives Delhi chapter. I was one of the 15 lucky and chosen bloggers to be a part of this ride on 10th day of May-Sunday! Here’s what I experienced :)

Blissful Beginning

I had got an email invite and several calls, Facebook updates and follow up emails from the beautiful people at Blogadda and I was super excited to go on this fun trip. Hush! I bunked a guitar lesson. Anyways! The best thing about the morning was that blogadda twitted with my team names and details and there I found another beautiful blogger Akanksha to accompany me till Godfather Lounge, Gurgaon.

When two girls drive together, distance doesn’t matter! We didn’t realize when we reached to the venue, where Team Blogadda and other fellow bloggers were ready to give us a warm welcome. I met few of my wonderful blogger friends again got a chance to meet many of them for the first time.

Women Empowerment: All Girls Group

I was member of R3 team and soon we named our team “All Girls Group” because we were 4 ladies in the team. Me aka Pretty Priyanka, Adorable Akanksha, Marvelous Manjulika and Amazing Ankita!

I got an opportunity to introduce my team to rest of the guests and soon after yummy snacks, delicious lunch and some sweet-dish, along with crunchy discussions; we were up for our ride.
Presentations and Instructions:

Before we moved for the drive, we were taken on a virtual tour of all the features and specifications of the much awaited Tata Bolt.

We were instructed about all the safety measures to be taken care of, food, water and medical facilities available in the TATA Bolt to make the drive experience smoother and better.

Captain Bolt

Before we actually begin to drive, let me introduce you to Captain Bolt. He can’t be seen, he’s just heard. He finds a way to call you during the drive and his magnificent voice echoes in every nook and corner of the car. He cares for the bloggers driving; he keeps an eye on the speed and movement of the car. He is there to make sure that we enjoy and stay safe during our drive.

The Drive

As we walked out of the Golffather Lounge, we found out what exactly was the reason behind the temperature levels boiling up in Delhi and NCR. It was none other than the glamorous and gorgeous Tata Bolt, lined up right in front of the Galaxy Hotel Gurgaon, waiting for all of us to get in and explore the drive experience.

The first look

Exterior-The first look of gorgeous Red Tata Bolt looked amazing. This hatchback is a stunner! As it was mentioned in the presentation too, the Car had headlights that exactly looked like Tiger’s Eye. The front the back and the sides, everything was simply eye-catching.

Interior-Lush and rich black interior of the gorgeous Tata Bolt was a value addition to what was seen outside! The gorgeous black seats, black music system, dashboard and everything was super attractive!

The Flag Off

One by one, all the cars were flagged off to first pit stop, where suspension test was to be done. Ankita Vadhel drove our car till the pit stop one-Leisure Valley Park Guragon, where Manjulika did the suspension test successfully.

We had a tab placed in the car with fully loaded music library having songs from almost every genre. But, we decided to stick to the peppy Bollywood numbers only. Girls will be Girls.

The suspension test:

What fun it was. The twisted driveway reminded me of the day when I underwent the driving test to get my driving license. The car is indeed stable and has absolute holdup to deal with not-so-smooth roads.
After the successful suspension test, Ankita was back on the driver’s seat and we were on the road, ready to catch the highway and drive the new experience.

Drivers Change:

At second pit stop, Aravali Resorts, drivers exchanged the car and we girls drove from there to the Nimrana fort. It was an amazing highly drive experience. Manjulika decided to drive us off till the destination and she was quite good at it. There were no abruptions or glitches during the drive. All smooth and thanks to some of the idiotic people on the road ahead of us, who gave us a chance to test the amazing brakes of the car!

During the drive, we tested all the three driving modes of Tata Bolt

Sports-To overtake some of the cars driven by boys *winks*
ECO-To save some fuel of course
City-Of course while we were walking out of the city!

The Royal Gateway-The Royal Get Away!

Music, drinks (lemonade and lassi) and cookies accompanied us to the highway drive and after an amazing road trip, we finally entered to the Royal Gateway! Yes! Nimrana fort palace. Amazing was the first look. For a moment, we forgot that we were stepping out in the boiling up 40 degrees of temperature. All the girls rushed out to reach the main entrance of the fort, no one cared about the summer’s attitude! We were busy exploring our Royal Get-Away!

Welcome Drinks

The real Nimbu Shikanji as a welcome drink during this killing summer heat was indeed a delight. I could smell the essence of fresh mint and basil in the natural lemon water! LIFE’S GOOD!

Fort Tour

Blogadda and Bolt knew the levels of heat and therefore, they smartly organized the indoor tour of fort for us, which unveiled beautiful areas of old and new fort. Some of the highlights of the indoor fort tour were hindola mahal, Loo with a View, A garden from where you could see the mountains, top view of the fort, cute amphitheater and hawa mahal.

Everyone wished two things as long as they were there in the fort:

1-To stay there for at least a week
2-To jump into that stunning blue and refreshing swimming pool

Snacks

Snacks and drinks were arranged to treat the blogger bellies and indeed the taste of the food was royal. The hospitality was great.

ChitChats

Talks, discussions, jokes and sharing of experiences continued throughout the process. Everyone enjoyed interacting with the fellow bloggers and wonderful people from Blogadda team and Bolt team. It was an experience to be remembered for a long time.

The BOLT moment of the day-Ragini Puri Bolted with Surprise

Whistles, cheers and claps and astonishment was there when Bolt announced its winner of Get.Set.Bolt activity held at Blogadda few months back. Ragini Puri, one of my blogger friends was the winner of a brand new shining bolt. Her expressions and astonishment as she was declared a winner was amazing! The winning moment for Ragini bolted us all and Ragini of course!

Tweets, Facebook Updates, Instagramming and photography

Social networking and socializing were the continuous process throughout the drive. Everyone enjoyed interacting with fellow bloggers and we clicked loads and loads of photographs. In those photos, we have captured memories, which will grow with us and last as long as we do. Looking forward to more such interesting meets to happen!

Folk music as sign off

Good folk music, all lit-up Nimrana fort palace and lined up Beautiful Bolt cars were signal for us to wave goodbye to the beauty of the Royal palace and head back home. The drive back home was amazing with some good music and interesting activities that Captain Bolt kept bringing in. Music, talks and discussions were the elements that enriched our drive back home.

Bolt and Blogadda had arranged drops for all the bloggers, helping us to reach back home safely, which was amazing! It was a day filled with joy and unforgettable moments.

Here's a video of us doing suspension test.

Thank you Tata Bolt and Blogadda. It was indeed  “A Sunday well spent at #BoltDrives with BOLT from TATA Motors in association with BlogAdda.”

Don't Spare the Load, Rather Share the Load

Caution!! This is going to be one of those long posts, which might scare you with its length and word count. But, since #sharetheload is one hell of a touchy topic and author of this blog is touched strongly, so this post has to be written in this way.

Okay! Here's a deal, I'll try making it an interesting one!

Been there, seen that!

Whatever showcases in the picture above is one of the most common sights we would find in Indian society (I have seen this in India only because I never got a chance to travel abroad, sigh!). Anyways! I have seen many times that most of the men take help of their respective wives to get ready while going out, be it ironing of clothes, finding the tie in the closet, cleaning the shoe, finding the comb, the hair oil, underwear and what not! And then, once they are ready, they hover over the head of that poor lady and repeat this question again and again, "Why do you take too long to get ready, we are already late!"

Have we ever wondered why does it happen?

I believe it happens because both the genders or husband and wife to be precise, think and believe that everything, which has been practiced for centuries is right. They are not ready to adopt the changes of the millennium. The ancient ideas of inequality has entered into the basic structure of human gene and hence it is difficult to take it out. There is an urgent need to change the thought process on massive level and inspire people to adopt the change for good and learn to #sharetheload !

Here's a quick view of WHY MEN THINK WOMEN TAKE TIME IN GETTING READY!

WHY WOMEN ACTUALLY TAKE TIME?

Well that explains a lot! Imagine if men start sharing the load of household a bit, how wonderful it would be for women. At least, by doing this men would correct their own thinking about why women require so much time in getting ready because if there's no household, then ladies would prefer to spend an hour or so extra for makeup!

The philosophy

Men and women are designed to work together, work for each other and fit like a hand in a glove. If the CREATER's idea was not to make both the genders #sharetheload then why both Men and Women are required to bring a New Life to this earth?

If men and women together have the energy and effort to create a new life and nurture it, then why can't the nurture their day to day life by showcasing similar involvement?

HOME MADE or HOME MAID?

In most of the houses, women are treated to be someone, who is always responsible for household task, no matter what. Even if she is working, earns equal amount of money and has her own ambitions in life, she needs to do the basics of households, such as cooking, doing dishes, laundry and mopping the floor.

Okay! Yes, one should never run away from the idea of doing household task, rather one should be proud of doing all this, being a human, one should feel privileged to get this opportunity of having a house plus household work.

BUT the concept should be applicable on both Men and Women. No lady in the house should be treated as a permanent maid for doing all the household work.

Household work should be a mutual effort, done by both and they should enjoy it, as much as they enjoy making love!

Take the test

See where do you fit? Do you spare the load or #sharetheload ?

Is your “HOME MADE” WELL?
Well, Do you have a “HOME MAID”?
Yes, you love and respect each other enough to #sharetheload together. Whatever comes in, you deal with it together-Be it LONG-DRIVE or LAUNDRY!

You fight because you think it’s your right! You fight because you’ve got free time and you want to make the most of it.

When you fight, no one wins. No one loses either. For you fights are also a TEAM-WORK.

You believe she is your HOME; she believes you are her HOME! Smile because together, you have MADE IT!

The last one is simple-You share the load of household work!
You point fingers at each-other, quite often! When it comes to #sharetheload, to both of you, it seems like NO FUN.

You fight because you think you are a SPARTA or something and you are born for it. You fight because you carry grudges somewhere in your existence.

You fight to win-Sometimes you win, sometimes your spouse, but actually you both LOSE!

You think she is your MAID
She wishes if you were her MAID
So, you’re basically not focusing on building a home, but rather on finding a MAID!
No you don’t!

When you share the load, you unfold few of the most amazing benefits for a lifetime. Such as:
  • You feel good and so does your partner.
  • Your kids learn the best policy in life, which is equality.
  • You lay down a foundation of GENDER EQUALITY in your home.
  • You deliver a message to the generations that men and women are meant to #sharetheload together, happily.
Ariel invites you to share the load and it doesn't say that you should only share the load while doing laundry...It just says that start with laundry because the awesome Ariel Matic would make it easy for beginners like you and give you enough courage to start with more #sharetheload initiatives.

So what are you waiting for? Even Spiderman shares the laundry load with her wifey!

Live by Moments Cause Days are Long, Years are Short

A blissful morning awaits at the gate
I want to wake up and meditate
Let the positive energies resonate
This is the secret of feeling all time great

The verses mentioned above echo straight from my soul, every night when the rest of the world has fallen asleep and I am still awake, dreaming with my eyes open. I stare at the dark and try to look into the future, with a strong belief that the future is brighter, better and far away from this chaotic city life. I imagine a life, where there is bliss, wind sings to me and there is time to explore the exotic and mythic secrets of Mother Nature.

#CelebrateLifeAtIvy activity has given me a chance to talk about my ideas of celebrating life. Here's my idea to celebrate life!

C-Cherish
E-Every
L-Little
E-Event
B-Before
R-Real
A-And beautiful life comes
T-to an
E-End

I do not believe in waiting for a day to cherish or celebrate my life. I know if I do the same, it would be too late to live! I want to live and rejoice every moment passing by. Hence, waiting for weekends to have a good time is so old school thing for me. Every day is beautiful and has its own essence. This is what keeps me going. Here is a list of smaller things that bring bigger of happiness to me:

Morning Walk: I take a walk because the morning breeze has some magic in it. My chaotic city looks silent and soothing during early morning walks and I love it.

A wind chime: I have no words to explain how alive and vivid I feel when I hear the wind chime sing along with the wind. The sound is magical and it heals the left, the right and the center of my brain. When I hear that beautiful sound, my troubles vanish and I feel no pain!

The Maa Time: Talking to Maa, discussing stuff that is useless, sharing secrets and fighting over parliamentary debates for no reason is my daily dose. This keeps me going on against all the challenges of life. Talking to ma is like fuel to my entire existence.

Latest update: Yesterday I and mom had debate over multiple layers of earth. No one won!

Being Silly with Friends: You walk out from your house with a plan and then you meet your friend and then there's no plan and then you all make a plan together, which never works and then you decide to stick to the idea of having no plan at all, which itself is a plan and arrgh! Life means madness (planned or unplanned whatever), when you are with creatures called friends.

Smelling flowers, sand, perfumes, food, soaps, shampoos and blah!

Yes you might declare me weird after reading this one, that's why I have mentioned it at the end OKAY! I love to smell fruits, mint, cake, soap, shampoo and all the beautiful things that smell nice in this world. Ah! That was easy! You can hate me now! Ah! Do I smell something fishy cooking in your head, see I told ya I can smell anything!

Okay I believe that we are deviating from the topic. The idea was to discuss about the things that make big occasions unnecessary and make you enjoy the moment.

Well, most of it it is discussed above, but still here is checklist of few of a things that make big occasions unnecessary and make me enjoy the moment. Here we go!

  • I would prefer to dance in the rain rather than dancing in a club where the ambiance sounds like tubelight of the house has gone crazy and is flickering for no reason.
  • I do not wait for the big fat relative weddings to decorate my body with colorful clothes and jewelry items. Well, I do it quite often for my other in our dressing room and she loves to watch it!
  • I do not need a birthday or anniversary label to bring in a chocolate cake in the house. Indulgence ah!
  • I don't wait for the rain to feel the rainy season. I've got a shower in my bathroom.
  • I live by moments, because I have experienced this that Days are Long and Years are Short.

So you too are inspired to celebrate every moment of life? Why don't you just “#CelebrateLifeAtIvy by owning a dream home atIvy estate, an 85 acre estate with 34 acres of greenery and open spaces. Pepsi & Popcorn-Playing #CrashThePepsiIPL Ads, the show is on

They fight for Pepsi
They unite for Pepsi
Watched almost 50 ads
and trust me found all of 'em sexy

Declaimer: I premiered the Pepsi videos with Pepsi Can in my one hand and Pop Corn Tub in another. OH YEAH! You are right. I used my nose to move the laptop track-pad! So what, got problem with that? Eh!

Being a blogger is always a privilege. I found it really interesting to get a chance to share my opinion on all the ads posted under CRASH THE PEPSI IPL contest, despite of not being one amongst the expert jury panel. Here's the summary of my overall experience :)

I enjoyed watching every video! Though, I enjoyed watching some a little more than others. But, one thing was common throughout the process of clicking through different videos, which was a feel good factor. Some ads excelled in terms of concept, creativity, direction and content but others could not reach to that level. BUT, every ad maker's efforts are needed to be appreciated because of following reasons:
  • The video might seem 30 second long or less, but it has to go through all the three phases-Pre product, production and post production to be uploaded on this page. Hence each admaker has worked really hard to participate in this contest.
  • Everyone has tried to convey a message and at the same time entertain within a short time span of 30 seconds of the video, which is commendable!
  • Participation requires courage and people have showcases massive response and enthusiasm towards the #CrashThePepsiIPL challenge. Kudos for all the participants.
Now its time to talk about the #CrashThePepsiIPL phase 2:

My Favorite Ads| My Hitlist

I liked many ads, based on their ability to entertain, engage and embed Pepsi in it flawlessly. There always has been a good thing about original Pepsi advertisements-In all the ads by Pepsi India, the product has always stood out as unique element but never stood separate from the lead protagonist in the ad. Hence, Pepsi and the actor in the ad have always been connected. Therefore, finding this message of connection and togetherness was very important for me.

Cutting Pepsi: Surprisingly cool and creative concept:

Cutting chai is considered very Indian thing and the way the admaker has introduced cutting Pepsi, clearly gives a message that how wholeheartedly India has accepted Pepsi as a prime beverage choice. People celebrate life with Pepsi and the soft drink is definitely associated with the spirit of cricket since beginning. India loves cricket and India loves drinking beverages in cutting glasses. Hence, drinking Pepsi cutting style really says a lot. :)

Positive advertisement, which blurs all lines of discrimination in just 30 Seconds

What you drink, what you eat and the way you behave reflects in your character and your personality. The spirit of sharing in this video is really heart touching. The way a soft drink can connect two people of different social standards and remove the discrimination grounds is simply brilliant.

PS: I loved the expressions of both the protagonists. The guy with Pepsi is really a good actor.

I found this ad the cutest of all :)

Friendship, Fun and Pepsi: Simple, Natural and Cute Advertisement:

I have spent college days playing around with my friends and I giggled when those two boys make fool of their lady friend to ignite some moments of memorable joy. I have experienced the same with my friends. They used to pull my leg and make me feel special in a different way. Pepsi fits in smoothly in the entire picture.

PEPSI IPL: United India: MY FAVORITE AD

This is amongst the smartest ads made under #CrashThePepsiIPL campaigns. The way all the teams of Indian Premier League have fallen together by rolling a Pepsi Bottle over that they make India's Map so beautifully, it instantly won my heart.

This is amongst the most clever plots for this contest and it is my favorite advertisement too.

Women Empowerment: The Pepsi Spirit: How could one not like it

Some parts of the country still believe that women can't play cricket and this wonderful advertisement breaks all the stereotypes in a stylish manner. Pepsi seems to be the driving force for the girls to play even better as a Pepsi Can is put forward by the boys as a challenge. Indeed thoughtful and creative concept, well executed!

All the actors in this ad have done complete justice to their roles and performed excellently.

Simple, Smart and Extremely Creative: How can one not like it!

The scrumptious and lip smacking food from all the eight states, where the IPL teams belong to. This is an amazing example of a beautiful and creative mind. Such a creative idea that it leaves you spellbound. I believe if there has to be 9 gems of IPL then 8 are the teams and 9th one is Of Course-Pepsi!

This is the most clever advertisement as per me!

Funny and engaging:

Ads with surprise element in them are always exciting. They keep the user engaged till the end. I was surprised with the way the Yoga Guru reveals all the Pepsi Cans under his shawl. This is something you don't see coming in the ad and hence it makes you feel stunned and happy!

This ad surprised me!

Better planning with lesser resources: The Pepsi Spirit Celebrated Well!

This is a smart method of making an advertisement. When you don't have resources then it becomes very difficult to bring out even smallest of the Audio Visual program. In this ad there is combination of text and script. No use of excessive props, locations and actors is done, but still the advertisement manages to stand out. Hence, I like it!

This is my take on the videos submitted under #CrashThePepsiIPL campaigns. To explore more awesomeness “Check out the #CrashThePepsiIPL videos & participate in the activity at BlogAdda”

PS: After all, the show must go on!
PPS: Don't forget to sit with PEPSI and Pop Corn.

A Dil Deals with Everything for 'The Goodbye Hug'

We were best friends, for a long time. She ruled over the most fragile and precious corner of my heart. Niva, I used to call her Niva and she had named me Navi. There was a time, when we shared everything, room, secrets, clothes and problems. We were soul sisters, those typical ones.
As they say, 'change is life's only guarantee', we began to change too.

Sometimes she had a reason to fight and on the remaining days my thoughts would linger around whatever happened. There were times then we could have never imagined that we would be fighting with each other in the future. Thus, we both were not in the position to accept the CHANGE.
Long story short, we couldn't handle it, neither we could break it completely, so our friendship and sisterhood had reached a dead end, where pointless fights had surrounded has badly. And one fine day, we decided to call it off officially. We divided all the common dresses (the ones we has bought together for both of us) equally and with mutual consent to avoid useless fights. But, there are still some things, which are hard to divide and a classy leather jacket was one such thing.

That brown genuine leather jacket was our mutual property. We both had put our respective pocket money to buy that jacket and since in that much money we could afford only one so we had happily decided to share it. But now that things had changed and we had decided to split our paths, the sharing thing had lost its meaning.

"I will take this jacket , you take anything else" she said, which was quite unexpected.
This made me furious and I said, "Why don't you go for what you have suggested to me".
This was enough to begin the quarrel, which soon turned into a fight we both were going to remember for a lifetime to come. We kept fighting until one of us gave up and it was her. So as per the argument, I had won the jacket in my name so technically I had a reason to celebrate but I couldn't. Neither I celebrated nor could I sleep whole night.

My heart wanted me to do something... something to comfort it because it was paining. My heart ached whole night and continued with the pain next morning as well because it cared about the sisterhood and its promises.

At least we could have fared each other well... this was probably the last  time we would spend together and life would  never give us a chance to be roomies again. At least we could have shared a nice goodbye hug with smile on lips and tears in eyes. We both deserved it but none of us had the courage to say it.

My heart couldn't favor the idea of keeping the jacket. It keep telling me that the jacket should go with Niva. May be as a memento of our friendship and its last ever fight or may be as a remembrance to the promise of sharing we made and none of us could keep.

She was ready to go. Her bags were pack and she had no plans to look back at me. I had no courage to say anything. When she picked her bags, that was the time my heart pounded heavier than ever. I had to listen to my heart because if I hadn't, it would have sunk, deep into the layers of grief.

"This belongs to you" I managed to utter these words somehow while offering her the jacket. She looked at me blankly. Tears rolled down of my eyes. Things had gone worse with no hope of recovery and I had to bear with the truth.

"I will take it but as a whole. For that I need to return you your part, how much should I pay you?" She asked with all the anger last night's fight had ingested into her.

"Yes right...if you really want to pay me my share, I would ask for a goodbye hug." I finally had the courage to speak my heart out. She instantly grabbed me in her arms and for a moment that hug made us forget all the chaos we were dealing with.

We didn't speak and let the grudges melt with the dim heat of our dying yet surviving friendship. Had I not cared to listen to my heart, it would have died that day. I am glad that we had a moment to be the old Niva-Navi again before our paths were separated.

Thank you #DilKiDealOnSnapdeal for bringing this wonderful topic up so that I could share one of the most precious and memorable moments of my life.

Digital IN(tel)DIA Initiative: Map to Brighter Future

Knowledge and technology shall not be limited to one, it must reach out to the farthest and darkest corners of this world, to ignite awareness and enlighten thousands of potential minds, waiting to be rescued.

What is Digital India Initiative

India is evolving! The motto has changed from Educate Everyone to Technically Educate Everyone.

Digital India is an ambitious program initiated by Government of India as vision and dream of Hon'able Prime Minister Shri Narendra Damodardas Modi. The project's value is 1,13,000 crores, under which, the idea is to prepare India (rural and urban) for technical skill and knowledge development. Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) is handling this program and the core idea is to establish the concept of e-governance in India, which can only be possible, if citizens are technically literate and comfortable in accessing the digital modes of communication and system functioning.

Why Every Indian Needs Digitization and Technical Knowledge

Indians have a hint of technology in their genes, of course.

But, as we move beyond geographical boundaries, the idea of global collaboration to make this world tech literate comes in. India again, as a country is listed on the top in the series of potential hubs for technical evolution.

If there is a passage, through which the world can reach to the TOMORROW OF TECHNOLOGY, India is one of the CONCRETE and UNAVOIDABLE milestones in that journey.

It has been proved over the period of time/several times that when one Indian is taught technology the right way, he has made a great difference on the world stage. The below mentioned people are a few to be discussed in this line. The actual tech military is yet to be formed.

There are many in present and more to come in the future because India is an ambitious country, where education has become a ritual for lifetime and technology is rapidly, turning out to be an EXTENSION TO PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES OF EVERY INDIAN.

Technology is now in genes of Indians. New born babies are comfortable with smartphones, tablets and they can handle the touch panel better because they are automatically designed this way. Therefore, the rural India also is warmed up to catch up the growth pace in learning new dimensions of technology.

Only visionaries from the tech fraternity can understand this and therefore, a very few like Intel are pioneering to take giant leaps towards creating a digitalized India through their programs- ‘Digital Skills for India’ and ‘Innovate for India’ initiatives.

In the Month of December 2014, Intel had launched its Digital program for India named ‘Digital Skills for India’ under which the goal is set to support the Ambitious program-Digital India by Indian Goverment and help 5 million people across the country to develop digital skills. Along with this, the Intel in its #DigitalIndia initiative the US based computer chip maker has also partnered with Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) in order to establish capacity by communicating the key resource persons of 1000 Panchayats under National Optic Fiber Network roll-out in India about digital literacy and reach out more number of people from rural India.

During that time, Intel had promised to launch  Innovate for India’which is now active and functioning to make technology and innovation accessible for a wider number of people.

#ChooseToStart Believing in New Promises

Many expert psychologists from around the world say that if something is practiced for 21 days regularly, then it becomes a habit. Interestingly, my father has been practicing the habit of saving money for 21 years.

And my observations strongly suggest that anything that is practiced more than a year becomes an inherent part of your entire personality!

Needless to mention that my beloved father has worked hard to give a brighter and better future to his kids and I firmly believe he is a successful man in this field. He never let me and my brother face shortage of anything. Sole motto of his life was to offer us a comfortable and healthy life, guarded by education at every step.

He obviously sidelined some of his personal demands and desired to save money for our brighter tomorrow. Though, he has always been a stylish and advanced man, who prefers to wear branded clothes and drive a nice car. He happily buys all that classy stuff, like a man! He also loves advanced smartphones with latest technology! But, he thinks that he can manage with a relatively cheaper smartphone.

Every time I and my brother tried to buy him an expensive smartphone, he would argue that he didn’t need that much of technically advanced handset, whereas, we knew that he was an ardent fan of technical developments.

Actually, his constant habit of saving money stops him from purchasing a handset smartphone (which he really likes) because he thinks he is paying a bit extra money for the same. Hence, his satisfaction as a buyer/user goes down.

There is only one method to deal with this: There should be a handset manufacturer, which understands this concern of people and prepares a handset, which is loaded with brilliant and technically advanced features yet has comparatively lesser amount written on the price tag!
Finally MOTO E has been introduced by Motorola, exactly something that I demanded in the above paragraph! So this gives me a valid reason to write this post. Bling-Ting-tiding!!

I want MOTOE 2nd Generation to become my father’s new smartphone, why? Well, Read on!

One, because they say,

This explains commitment of the brand to launch such a product, which offers more features in lesser price.

The Promise For Improvement...

What matters the most to a customer, when he or she has to decide on his loyalty towards a brand? Well, the customer needs to have faith that the brand cares for the customer, addresses his/her needs and promises to improve. This is something I see here...

Looks and Lot More

My Dad believes that style is of some worth, it it is mingled with comfort.

So, my preference obviously would be towards buying a phone, which is smart, small in size and yet offers a brilliant screen display. I am happy that Moto E 2nd generation has taken care of this point...

Cool Back Panels in COLOR!

I am sure Dad would choose the Black & White panel. NOT because he is a big fan of old era, but because he thinks black & white is classy.

They've Promised Authenticity

When a brand's head engineer comes up and promises something, you've got to believe it. After all, the world works on Hope & Trust. So, I would like to have faith in this promise and would love to see it coming true.

The Brand Specialty

Okay! How would you feel if you buy a box of chocolates and get one box of that brand's specialty chocolates for free, as a gift, without paying a single penny extra? I think now you can understand how it feels to see this...

And only a software engineer from India can understand what India actually wants... I LIKE IT!

When a brand makes a promise of excellence through its new product, putting all its energy and efforts, you as a customer, got to believe it and give it a chance. Later, the performance of the product would tell how worth it was to have faith in that particular brand.

All the research driven and effort driven promises made by Motorola for is new Moto E are convincing enough. And, I wish all of them come true. May be then, I would finally be able to gift a smartphone to my father, which would meet his tech demands, without making him feel that his daughter had paid a bit extra money to buy it for him.

All the best Team Motorola.
