Chapter-6

Dressed up in Pink, Piu was looking at the mirror.

No she wasn’t self-obsessed. She was actually doing it to kill time. Mommy was busy doing make-up and Dad hadn’t arrived yet.

“Mommy, why did you marry Dad?” asked Piu staring at the mirror continuously.

“What do you mean little lady” Mommy questioned in response.

“No, I mean he isn’t punctual, he snores frequently, he’s always late when we have to go somewhere and he forgets the shopping list at home! Still you married him, I wonder” Piu managed to sustain her pout during entire sentence.

“Piu” Mom was awestruck!

“Ok, I agree he looks handsome! Was this the reason to marry him” Piu smiled at her mom, naughtily.

“My Love, I married your Daddy because I loved him and still do; Love doesn’t look for reasons!” said Mommy, holding her little daughter in her arms, softly.

Daddy was too lucky to be present at the right place at right time.

“Oh really…!” He winked at her wife.

“Oh really really Mr. you are late! And oh my God, which fertilizer do you put in your beard, it grows so fast…” It was Piu, playing the gooseberry!

“Oh my little Pie, I am just gonna clean it off and yes, I was all clean shaven while I proposed your mother, I guess My clean shaven look bowled her over and she said yes” Daddy explained.

“But why do you hate beard so much lady” Mommy teased Piu.

“I hate it because its unclean, it stinks, it pierces my skin when daddy gives me stubbly kiss and I believe people use beard to hide their wrinkles and …….” Piu’s list continued until Daddy shaved, mommy did the touch-up and Piu was parked at the back seat of the car…

Do Not Disturb: The Blue Envelop

“Do Not Disturb” Yes, this was scribbled on that blue envelop she found underneath the abandoned wardrobe. She didn’t use this closet for years. She would use it while she was a child but now it didn’t match her standards.  Today she had to bent down and search for her little boy’s toy train, which accidently landed under that wardrobe. The blue envelop accompanied the train while it was fetched out.

She was too busy to ignore that piece of paper easily, but she couldn’t because those three words in inverted commas were written by her mother. How could she forget her mother’s handwriting? Mother was the one, who taught her to write.

Escaping from her daily life duties, she managed to steam few minutes and unwrap that envelop. There was a letter in it. Her mom’s letter…! Turning too restless, she unfolded its creases…The letter read:

My little Princess,

I don’t want to disturb you so keeping it short. You have grown up, too busy to look after your life. You are moving forward, which is life’s rule and its most prominent part. But, memories are also a little part of life. Memories allow us to look back sometimes. You and I have the most wonderful memories. Earlier, you stayed inside me and then you came in this world to stay with me, completely.

You made me complete. We played together, bed-time stories, discussing about your mathematics phobia and exploring the delight of homemade foods. Do you remember I had to go for a medical check-up and you didn’t want to miss our picnic plan? So we decided to ditch the doctor’s appointment and head straight to children’s park. And magic had happened that day; my fever was gone, without taking any medicine. Do you know why my princess? Because you were there…!! My best ever remedy.

Time flies when happy days are there. You and I were best friends and soon you grew up. You learnt to make friends outside and it turned harder for you to spare some time for me. But I knew childhood is incomplete without friends like you. I cherished your friendships with other kids, but the kid inside me, who was there exclusively for you often felt hurt and ignored. But I managed.

Then you stepped into adolescence and we started having the long series of arguments over any random things. You father called it Generation gap and you blamed my Authoritative Nature.

Teenage successfully handed you over to Youth and far away from me. Every time I wanted to break in a conversation, you replied, “Mom, can’t you see I am busy, please do not disturb”

This Do not Disturb thing became the thin line between us and I could never gather courage to erase.

I often sit in this little room, where you were born and where your childhood is still treasured. I look at the colorful walls, the pencil sketches you scribbled on the walls and your tiny wardrobes and my heart yearns for a soulful cry and a gentle hug from you to soothe it forever.

Now you are a mother. Your son is a toddler yet and I am worried for you my child. I don’t want you to have motherhood, where you are gradually drifted away from your own child. Stay connected with your child and transform with time, so that you can be able to enter in your child’s life even when he grows up, which I failed to do.

Spend as much time as you can with your kids, before they ask you to “Do Not Disturb” them.

Your Mom.

She clinched the letter next to her heart and released a soulful sigh! She wanted to rush back to her childhood and hug her mom forever and never let her go!

Moms never die because they care for their child even after their death. That’s what her Mother had done-Left a note, which had taught her the biggest lesson of her life.

Kissing the letter again and again, she rushed to the garden. Hugging her little boy tightly, she said, no school today, we are going on picnic.

Kids are so happy when they get to bunk the school officially! He put his necks around her Mommy and kissed her cheeks multiple times.

Putting her social networking and work status to “Do Not Disturb”, she was all busy in relishing her life’s best moments.

The bald headed gentleman: Piu’s Porky Pies leading to P.A.S.S. (Protest against Smelly Stubble)

**Hey Smarty Pants, You are in Middle of the Piu series. To know it well, read following chapters too:

Chapter-1
Chapter-2
Chapter-3
Chapter-4
Chapter-5

Piu was wretched and what led her to this misery was arrival of nosy neighbor Sharma Uncle. Sharma was the most annoying individual and self-acclaimed gentleman. He held expertise in lowballing others and finding faults in their lives.

Every time little Piu felt a strong urge of bringing Uncle Sharma down and teach him some manners. But Daddy was always successful in mincing her anger. But, today the volcano seemed to be sweltering and burst out.

Sharma uncle entered the house, parked his huge butt on the finest chair in the garden and started flipping through the newspaper. Piu was still busy in making mud-pies.

“Psst Psst… Hey Sassy Lady! Where’s your Dad” Sharma started the conversation.
“In the backyard, washing car” Piu was still focused on her mud pies.

“Or in the kitchen washing dishes khi-khi-khi” Uncle tried to poke Piu’s brain.

“How long you have been repeating the same dialogue Uncle, Grow Up” said Piu, busy scratching her head to cultivate new and pierce thoughts so that she could give an edgy fight to arrogant Uncle.

“Why are you scratching head, either wash it or turn bald like me” Said uncle, caressing his bald head and scratching his beard with another.

“Mr. Bald-headed Gentleman, why don’t you shave and clean your cheeks like mine? People need hair on their heads not on their cheeks.” Volcano Bursted!

“Grow up little lady” Said Baldy Uncle.

“Sharma Uncle, I hate that unclean stubble and also your idea of making others feel minor. Now tell me who needs to grow up?”

Uncle was too shocked to stand or sit in front of that little revolution.

“Who was it honey” asked Mommy responding to the voices outside.

“Baldy gentleman asking for barber shop” replied Piu, busy again with mud pies.

Desert Safari Day: Piu’s Porky Pies leading to P.A.S.S. (Protest against Smelly Stubble)

**Alert:You are in Middle of the Piu series. To know it well, read following chapters too:

Chapter-1
Chapter-2
Chapter-3
Chapter-4

Piu went on a desert safari with her Dad. Sitting in open jeep, putting his dad’s goggles on, she kept boasting her cute looks around. She was fascinated by the ladies carrying water-pots. She kept waving to those beautiful ladies walking along the pavement.

“Why do these ladies veil their faces Dadda?”
“Because veil prevents them from dust” Dad replied neutrally
“Then why aren’t we veiled”
“Because we are in Jeep Doll”
“But the jeep is also not veiled; its open jeep can’t u see it?”

Poor Dad; trapped in little creature’s arguments, as always!

“Baby Girl, they veil their faces because they are beautiful and veiling preserves their beauty” Daddy tried to explain.

Piu was quiet and daddy was about to release a BIG sigh of relief but sadly he was interrupted.

“But their faces are hidden, how come you know they are beautiful?” Piu shot straight.

Daddy was in trouble. But, he had to answer.

“Because, those who hide their faces with something are beautiful”

“I beg to differ here Mr. Dadda!” Shouted Piu in cheerpy tone; removing goggles bigger than her cheeks, she continued, “If by any chance, you are trying to make a point that men that hide their faces behind dirty-stinky stubble are beautiful, then Mind You, It’s not gonna happen!”

Daddy’s mouth fell open, still he was thankful that he had shaved this morning.

Trying to fetch Piu’s attention, daddy looked in the rear mirror of his jeep, tucking his tongue beneath his right cheek.

Piu smiled and she was proud of her dad because ‘his clean shaved look bowled her over’

Wearing her stylish Big goggles Piu wickedly said, “No matter how much you try to woo me, I am surely gonna tell Mommy that you find these veiled water pot ladies beautiful”

Banyan Tree & Uncle Sid: Piu’s Porky Pies leading to P.A.S.S. (Protest against Smelly Stubble)

To know the whole story, read Chapter-1 Chapter-2 and Chapter-3 here.

Piu’s favorite Sid uncle was home.

Piu liked him becuase was patient enough to answer her every quirky question she raised. Also, he never said No to Piu’s proposal of playing with dolls under water tank!

Yes, Piu loved making her doll’s house under water tank; she liked that tiny and cozy place of all. Also, she loved it because she could easily fit in it. But, Poor Uncle Sid had to go through cervical pain because he could only fit himself under the water tank by bending his spine!

But today she wasn’t that pleased to see Sid Uncle. She greeted him half-heartedly and twisted her lips arrogantly while shaking hands with him.

Sid Uncle was worried as he realized his little friend was angry or disappointed over something. So her gently picked Piu in his arms and offered her a chocolate. Piu accepted the chocolate but still looked away.

“What happened kiddo?”

“Uncle Sid, which tree has beard hanging from its face?”

“Banyan Tree I think, but why are you asking this?”

“Well yes, it has beard but it never shaves. Do you know why, because it hurts when a tree shaves its outgrowth, teacher told me?” Piu looked super cute while using her hands to express what she meant.

“Wow, my intelligent lady I didn’t know that” said amazed uncle.

“But you must know that shaving doesn’t hurt humans. Don’t you men understand that it’s a blessing for you to get rid of this dirty smelly stubble without feeling a bit of pain?” Piu’s authoritative tone certainly made Sid uncle and Mommy Daddy laugh.

“Oh, so this anger is all about my stubble look” smiled Uncle Sid.

“I hate that unclean stubble” said Piu.

Ok, Uncle Sid knew it was time for a clean shave!

From Tablet to Tablet: HAPPILY EVER AFTER Journey: #BETTERWAY with Lenovo Yoga Tablet

Ok! I confess, I am gonna write a long post here! Reason, switching from ‘tablet to tablet’ is a looooong story.

It all began with my grandma’s fairytales, which often ended with an emblem sentence “And they lived happily ever after”.

Wow! Amazing it sounded that time. This sentence and its delivery by my Grandma at the end of each story was so powerful that I created a strong belief of having a magical world, where one day, everything will fall in place automatically and I will live HAPPILY EVER AFTER!

But, did this really happen? Obviously no! There’s a thin line between the world we live in and the world we think we deserve to live in. And, this gap is never neither filled, nor eliminated. Thus, we live an incomplete life, waiting for a day, where magic will happen, blue birds will sing outside our bedroom window and wind will sing to us; In short, HAPPILY EVER AFTER thing keeps nagging in our butt.
Long story short, (I have mentioned this sentence in large font, so that impatient people could also spare some time and gather some courage to read on further).

So, long story short, I wanted to be an aerobics trainer, guest speaker at seminars and a night show Radio Jockey (everything I thought I deserved to be) and I ended up being a content writer in a random firm (only thing they thought I deserved to be). And, here the roller coaster ride began! Take a look J

Heya SmartyPants…Click on the Above Image to read all funny dialogues easily. It will Open in New Tab!

I often thought to myself, what I am doing in here! I need to get up and chase my dreams; But 9 hours of office sucked my soul and staring at the computer screen for whole day and tapping my fingers on the keyboard turned me insane. I hated thinking of computers back home. I dropped my idea of buying a laptop and TABLETS became my only matter of interest!

HELLO! Don’t overthink, I am talking about pills here. Yes, pills for backache, pills for headache, pills for fever, pills for blood pressure, and pills for cervical pain. So, that’s how me and my TABLETS became companions for every day.

Relying on these TABLETS, turning my mind insomniac, I somehow managed to look compos mentis at work place. But how long can someone hide a volcano inside. 9 hours of sitting at the computer table, staring at the screen and writing about such content, which didn’t match my interest level injured HOLD, STAND AND TILT mode of my mind.

I witnessed my imagination power drifting away from me. The last thing I could imagine at that time was the Fairy of my imagination (who made me believe on grandma’s Happily ever after tales) was waving me Goodbye. It was high time but I couldn’t help it. They increased my salary and I had turned Buck-Pup (I named this myself for running behind money and ignoring health).

But, one day, I saw this…And it changed my whole world. I somehow managed to gather courage hiding in each of my veins and waved Goodbye to my job!

I somehow managed to gather courage hiding in each of my veins and waved Goodbye to my job!

Now, I was all set to pursue what I wanted to do-Photography as hobby and fitness training and RJing as profession. But, it wasn’t that easy; I had gained enough of weight and proved the above mentioned EVOLUTION PICTURE right. So I first had to draft and plan and start working accordingly.

So, I decided to: Blog regularly, Watch some funny videos, learn Yoga online and of course watch some photography and editing videos on Youtube. Guess what, doing all this again needed sitting on a computer or Laptop! No… I wasn’t over with the trauma I suffered during my job. SO buying a laptop was absolutely No-No!

So my brother suggested get a Tablet and I shouted I have had enough in last one year. Tablet for almost everything except contraceptives!

He was sure his sister had turned psycho so he decided to explain what exactly a tablet is and I found myself stupid to think that I had almost forgotten that a gadget named TABLET also exists.

I bought one such tablet, which was praised very well by its makers of course, through the advertisements and I was happy. I thought finally I had a little thing in the name of computer, which is handy, easy to carry and of course stylish enough to flaunt in public.

But, moon isn’t as shiny as it appears from distance. I invested in a table expecting it to erase all my worries and add comfort in my life, but I was rather introduced with new kind of troubles.
My everyday life like with a tablet:
  • It was smaller than laptop, but certainly bigger than a smartphone. SO, it was painful to hold it in hand. My thumb suffered pain whenever I tried to carry it with one hand.
  • It was impossible to carry it with one hand and using another hand to tap its screen. For that, I either had to sit and place it in my lap (which I hated) or get annoyed with uncomfortable way of working on a tab.
  • It had excellent screen resolution but I couldn’t watch videos on it as per my comfort. If I wanted to curl on my sofa and watch some funny videos on my brand new tab, I SIMPLY COULDN’T DO IT. Because the devices wanted to be TREATED LIKE A CHILD. It was annoying to keep my hands swinging in air, right above me, holding the tablet, causing unbearable pain in my shoulders.
  • I used flower vase to offer back-support to the tablet and my mom’s comb box in the front side for support. But still this slippery element managed to slip down and lay straight on the table. Do I need to tell it was annoying!!
  • LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST, I ended up breaking two flower vases while bringing my tablet into stand mode and MOM named me SCRAPER.

Enough! I had certainly had enough of infidelity from this arrogant tab and I decided to give it away. So, I gave it away to my cousin brother, who still owes me good gesture for that, ARROGANT COUSIN BROTHERS HUH!

Who says life doesn’t end with a Tablet. It does man! My mother declared me careless, arrogant and a girl whose brain is filled with complaints. She warned me that if is sell or give away this tablet to someone, she would never let me buy any gadget ever again. I knew she wasn’t serious. But she actually was!

While reading through the contest and features PDF of LENOVO YOGA TAB, the only thing that came in my mind was whoah! That’s the gadget I want to have with me for a lifetime. It’s all what I desired- A tablet, which is easy to hold, easy to stand and quick to tilt and adjust my view. But! Mom was still firm to her decision. She was sure that she would never let me buy a new tablet or any gadget because I didn’t value the previous one. So it was time for me to convince her.

So I decided to write a letter to my mom and convince her that the gadget I am talking about now is worth using. And there's no harm in winning it ;) (wink wink)

**Letter To Mommy the Great**

Mom,

Do you remember a calculator+alarm clock that brother brought for me. The one which was automatic and was easy to hold and tilt through its cylindrical sides? I am sure you remember how much I liked it because it was so comfortable to use, smart and elegant in looks and of course had awesome features! Did I ever complaint for that? No… Same is the case with Lenovo Yoga Tablet.

I am sure not because of reading the manual, but also because of the fact that it reminds me of only gadget I loved, that alarm clock!

Earlier I thought that technology has really grown up. How smartly the engineers shrunk a computer into a mini pad equivalent to a book cover size. But, I got to know the actual picture once I explored that old tablet.  I realized that there’s a lot more still needed to be invented in terms of comfort, ease of access and flexibility for the users.

Every time I used that old tablet, I thought to myself ‘I wish they put an engineer in trouble! And magic will happen! Because a trouble engineer would find a marvelous way to get rid of the problem permanently. And that’s what Lenovo Yoga Tablet has done. Mommy! It is a multi-mode tablet and has:

  • Hold mode
  • Stand mode
  • Tilt mode

In short, the engineers have paid enough attention to not only software part, but hard ware part as well, which is often ignored by other tablet makers. Trust me Mommy, this is a revolution.

Earlier it was
‘Take a tablet and get rid of the pain!’
And then it turned to
‘Oh God! This tablet is Pain!’

This is the journey from tablet to tablet. I am sure you understand that from which tablet to which I am talking about because few years back, we only knew one tablet, which we could digest easily. But, digesting these costly and feature loaded tablets of tech savvy world is quite challenging.
But, I really love this multi-mode tablet, because it’s what exactly I needed. Its #betterway Why? Ok read the pointers quickly Mommy!
  • Ok, I need a tablet, which is easy to flaunt in Public! But flaunting is a daunting task! I am sure you would agree with this. BUT Lenovo Yoga Tablet’s unique battery cylinder, easy to hold with one hand will let me do this easily
  • It is easy to hold, stand and adjust screen view with this smart tab, so I would surely get rid of cervical pain, back pain and shoulder pain.
  • It is quite easy to carry this tab around and I can use it on the go easily.
  • And Mom you can't beat this one! IT HAS Awesome Battery Backup (18-20 hours!)
  • It has hold mode, so you won’t need to see your flower vases breaking accidently!
  • PLUS… I strongly believe that it has that HAPPILY EVER AFTER feel attached with it. Having this tab will be more like a DREAM COMING TRUE.
PS: If I get this tablet, I promise I will do Yoga every day! This tablet is for those, who do and you know I’ve got a lot to DO in my life.

And Mommy! SHOPPING, INTERNET SURFING, SOCIAL NETWORKING, READING AND ENTERTAINMENT everything matters if it is accessed comfortably. And, that's what this Yoga tablet is offering-Comfort and flexibility in usage of this gadget.

Yours beloved and Lenovo Yoga Tablet’s Lover
Piyu

Now I am sure my Mom won’t bother me winning this tablet as a gift under this content. LOL!

King's ‘lice sprinkled beard’: Piu’s Porky Pies leading to P.A.S.S. (Protest against Smelly Stubble)

This is second Chapter of Piu's Porky Pies, Read previous ones here: Chapter-1 and Chapter-2

It was Sunday morning, holiday for the whole world but not for Piu’s Dad. He was appointed as Sunday Story Reader for his daughter, deserted from offs including sick leaves too.

“Come little princess, what do you want me to read for you today?” Said Dadda; hugging his little angel.

“Love Story” Piu said obliviously, gazing at her toy train innocently.

“What, love story? No you are too young for that; No love stories until you turn 18”

“Love sees no age” Piu was firm.

“Who told you this?” Daddy shocked!

“You and mommy were talking something like this last night” an innocent reply melted Dadda’s heart!

“You little devil, when do you overhear all these conversations? Love sees no age my love, but love stories do. So I am going to read you Sukbar & Girgal’s story” Dad was all set to convince his princess.

“Not again Dadda grow up!” Piu was least interested.

“I promise you will love it” and Dadda opened the book

Piu joined in half-heartedly and Dadda began to read the first line of the story.

“King Sukbar, sitting in her courtyard caressing his beard, asked Girgal…” Before Daddy could complete the sentence Piu interrupted.

“I don’t understand why kings had beard? And, if they had beard then there were lice in them for sure. I don’t want to listen to such story, where kings were unhygienic and stubbly… “I hate that unclean stubble”. Tell me something about love or you are dismissed” Piu’s little nose had turned red.

Dad broke into laughter. What was this new strategy he wondered? Did Piu really hate stubbly look that much or she wanted him to read love stories to her. Whatever it was, he was sure that there was absolute No-No for stories of the bearded kings.

Our faces resemble, but your stubble is the trouble:Piu’s Porky Pies leading to P.A.S.S. (Protest against Smelly Stubble)

This is second Chapter of Piu's Porky Pies, Read Chapter-1 Here.

Piu was back to her dollhouse. She was carefree now as Dad was home. She didn’t have to act responsible anymore. Every time her Dad was out of station, she would turn more caring for home & home, assuming that her mother was too fragile to handle it all.

Piu’s Dad had laughed several times since he entered the house and was named ‘Monk’ by his daughter because of his unshaven stubbly look. That night, Piu had slept earlier because she was all tired of fulfilling the house-in charge’s duty successfully. But, her Mom and Dad couldn’t sleep. They kept on talking about the cuteness and innocence their little child had.

Dad wanted to surprise little Piu early in the morning, so he decided to get rid of the unshaven look in the night only. So, midnight shaving took place and a round moon like, glowing young face was discovered beneath the mess of hairy beard.

But, before he could wait the morning to come and impress his daughter, he noticed someone else getting really moved. Yes, it was his wife, smiling at home tenderly. “His clean shaven look bowled her over” and he loved it.

Morning came, Dadda opened the corner window adjoining Piu’s little bed and tickled her little tummy. Piu curled up in her bed for a moment and then opened right eye to take a look at her father. And, a brightening smile lightened up her round face as she looked the clean shaven glowing face of her Dad.
She hugged her Dad and kissed his clean shaven cheeks, and said, “Dadda, do you know our faces resemble, but with your stubble, I find myself in trouble, so be clean shaved like this only.”
Dad smiled at his little carbon copy beating eyelashes at him.

Monk at The Door: Piu’s Porky Pies leading to P.A.S.S. (Protest against Smelly Stubble)

‘Piu’, a gorgeous little lady I used to be almost 2 decades ago is going to be the lead protagonist in the story.

At the age of 4, Piu strongly believed that she was big enough to claim the position of ‘house in-charge’. She had clearly mentioned it to her mother that only Piu would open the door, whenever the doorbell would ring, no matter what!

For that she had forcefully got the little plastic ladder placed near the entry door to unbolt it without any human help. Mom was paranoid about all this as little Piu couldn’t even help her chinos slipping down her round little derrieres. But, she couldn’t protest because Piu was the in charge.

That whole day, Piu opened the door. Consequently, poor milkman, housemaid, postman and other visitors had to stand for hours ringing the bell again and again. First Piu would hold the plastic ladder, step on it carefully and then stretch her pants up and then take the next step, slowly and gradually reading to unbolt the door.

Whole day went well for Piu, of course not for the guests at the door.

It was 7 in the evening and doorbell rang, Piu rushed to the door, taking her self-acclaimed position too seriously.

Mom was expecting her husband to come back from a month long tour, but Piu came back droopy, keeping her hands in pockets, careless of pants slipping down her waist and said, “Mommy, there’s a monk at the door and I hate that unclean stubble he has”

Back from a long trip, loaded with baggage and of course monk-like stubble, Daddy stood stunned behind little Piu, smirking gently at her wife, shocked that his messy stubble didn’t let his daughter recognize him.

“Time to clean the mess” He thought!

Chronicles of Aggarbatti to Ambi Pur journey

Ok, I am going to tell you the whole story about how Ambi Pur entered my life. We’ll start with the flashback highlights and progressively will review the product.

The Flashback

Tired of a hectic day of work as I finally reach the staircase of my home, that very familiar sharp smell hits my nostrils. God, this Aggarbatti (incense stick) trend of these second floor tenants is going to kill me for sure. Why can’t they just get a good room freshener? Arggh, the smell of these Aggarbattis is too sharp to penetrate through my nasal cavity and drag me towards nausea (almost). Every time I tried to convey this message to that lady, she would make annoying faces and babble about the benefits of Aggarbattis followed by some religious comments.

Before I could shout, “Then for God sake, get some incense sticks, which have frail fragrance, forget your neighbors; at least don’t torture The Almighty with this suffocating smell.” She would slam the door and walk away.

Recalling these instances, today also, I don’t feel wise to replay the entire conversation episode with the Aggarbatti lady. So I walk upstairs, keeping my mouth shut. But wait, I am upstairs now and rather than diminishing, the impact of sharp Aggarbatti smell is enhanced. What the fish is this… I am sure, that arrogant lady must have ignited two more incense sticks intentionally to take revenge for all the dialogues I often pass to her.

Trapped in the thoughts of anguish, anger and doubt, I ring the bell and my 'Mommy the great' stands at the door, smiling and holding 5 ignited Aggarbattis in her hand. It’s enough to blow up my mind and I can’t really figure out what has happened.

“Mom, where did you get these from” I am sure she could sense my anger!

“Well, I borrowed these from the lady downstairs”

“What the…f… Mommy… You… You went downstairs to borrow these Aggarbattis from that arrogant Aggarbatti aunty?? Mom what’s wrong with you?”

“Why are you so paranoid and what is this Aggarbatti.. Aggarbatti… it is the traditional room freshener” now she is talking like a Mother.

“Oh please! You know that it hits in my head and it has nothing to do with room freshening Maa… Now please extinguish these incense sticks, they are driving me nuts”

“Well, they are still better than the pesky room freshener you bought” oh, so she’s getting sarcastic now.

“Mom, don’t call for a WORD-WAR, I am telling you. How would I know about the fragrance of that room freshener until I get to open it and don’t you know it comes sealed…SEALED” I spoke uninterruptedly, while busy in dousing those incense sticks.

“Poor lady, she would have used these sticks for 5 days” Mom was concerned about Aggarbatti aunty.

“They are still usable, return them to her and tell her to GET A LIFE” It was a breathless sentence.

“I would rather tell you GO GET A BETTER ROOM FRESHNER” hell, she’s so good at sarcasm

“I am gonna get one for sure” I say firmly.

“Oh Yeah” sarcasm continues in her expressions and tone

“Yeah Yeah” affirmation continues too.

The climax & conclusion
This one of the mini Daily Word Wars leads me to trust the advertisement of Ambi Pur (Smelly to Smiley) being broadcasted for so long. Also, i had noticed #FreshNHappy social media campaign by makers of this air freshener. So, I finally decide to trust almost everything they tell in the advertisement and spend my valued 220 rupees and buy one of the aplenty fragrances offered by Ambi Pur.

I pick Ambi Pur Air Effects Blossoms & Breeze, why? Because I loved the name of the product and of course the color of freshener bottle is quite tranquil.

Now, as I open the spray bottle for the first time and use my index finger to spray it in the air, my Mom looks at me with suspicious eyes. She is quite sure I have no idea about purchasing room fresheners at least. And, till the date, her belief about me has been proved ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.
But, I wish today things be different. I spray it.

The Review

Yes, Ambi Pur has changed my life! Voilla…! I AM HAPPY that this product didn’t ditch. Its fragrance is way better and enchanting. The tranquility and freshness that it adds to the air certainly justifies the outer design of its bottle.

As you press the spray nob and let the micro particles come out to fresh n up your surroundings, certainly magic happens. As you close your eyes, you can simply feel the bliss of being on a holiday in nature’s lap.
And, it’s amazing that this air freshening formula by Ambi Pur really deals with:

Smelly feet

Smelly Socks of course

Smell of Garbage

And a lot more I guess...!!

The most liked factor: What I love the most about this particular room freshener by Ambi Pur is that it is too gentle on nostrils. You can simply inhale and exhale to enjoy strong breathing process when the freshener is poured in the air. This has never before been possible for me, neither with my random selection of air-fresheners nor with Aggarbatti ofcourse!

So, through this post, I would like to thank Ambi Pur for:

·         Rescuing me from painful experience of headache and nausea when I would inhale any of the sharp nose penetrating smell in the name of air freshening.
·         Making my mother believe that I can choose right things, so she would let me marry the man I choose for myself.
·         To transform the ambiance of my house, without affecting our daily breathing routine.
·         To add pinch of freshness and healthiness in my surrounding.
·         To solve my problem of air freshening for LIFETIME.
·         To give me this chance of sharing such wonderful experience.

PS: I am planning to gift one Ambi Pur air freshener to my beloved Aggarbatti aunty too. Hope she would understand the difference between sharp smell and soothing scent.
